ATVA Members' Commitment to Responsible Riding
We believe that responsible ATV riders should:
- Get qualified training
- Wear a helmet
- Ride with a buddy
- Let others know where they’re riding
- Say “no” to carrying passengers
- Ride sober
- Wear eye and body protection
- Minimize exhaust noise levels
- Ride in authorized areas and stay on designated trails
- Supervise young or inexperienced riders
- Know their owners manual
- Ride within their skills
- Show respect for others and the land by treading lightly
