Two new classes added for Extreme Dirt Track in 2008
Two new youth classes have been added to the Duro Extreme Dirt Track ATVA Nationals for 2008, in addition to the return of all the classes from 2007.
New for 2008 is a class for 13-to-15-year-olds that allows modified ATVs of 71cc-105cc for two-strokes and 75cc-150cc for four-strokes.
The other new class is intended to provide a transition for youth riders
before moving up to the 16-and-older amateur ranks. The new Youth
Production Senior class is open to riders ages 15 to 17 on 201cc-400cc four-strokes.
The new class fills in the gap between youth and amateur classes. It also
allows racers to compete in multiple classes.
For example, a 16-year-old could race Youth Production Senior and B or C amateur classes, while a 15-year-old could race Youth Production and Youth Production Senior.
A final schedule will be announced soon. Meanwhile, the tentative schedule for the 2008 Extreme Dirt Track ATVA Nationals includes the following dates:
| May 3 | Greenbrier, Arkansas |
| May 17 | Brownstown, Illinois | May 31 | Ava, Missouri |
| June 14 | Danville, Virginia |
| July 5 | Pennsylvania |
| July 19-20 | Ashtabula, Ohio |
| August 2 | Elizabeth City, North Carolina | August 16 | Greenville, Tennessee |
