Southern Maryland ATV Park
Budds Creek, Maryland
If
you're looking for a great place to ride in the Maryland area then you're in
luck, the Southern Maryland ATV Park in Budds Creek is a great place to go.
Why?
Well, there is a great little motocross-style track with a lot of small jumps. It's a fun place to ride and close to the parking lot.
And
then there are more than 22 miles of wooded trails on 300 acres.
This is definitely a family park, and no alcohol or drugs are allowed, period.
There are a bunch of rules but they're meant to keep everyone safe. You must wear a full-face helmet, goggles, gloves, and over-the-ankle boots.
You also must stay on designated trails, which are two-way, and you can't ride double. Minors must have a signed permission slip from parents and must be accompanied by an adult.
The cost to have a day's worth of fun is $30 on Friday, and $50 on Saturday or Sunday. There are also various annual membership and other fee options.
The park is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Hotels are found in the nearby towns of La Plata, Waldorf, and Lexington Park.
