Team DRI endures to win 24 hour ATV race

Click to enlargeMay 7, 2003 – Team Duncan Racing International endured 40-mph winds in the California desert to win the 24 Hour Race of Le Fud Sunday on their race-prepared ATV. The riders—Doug Eichner, Allen White II, Marc Spaeth, John Gregory, Leonard Duncan and Danny Rudd—rode a new Kawasaki KFX 700 to victory in the bi-annual 24 hour endurance race based in Ocotillo, California.

The team was able to cover an astounding 940 miles around a 10-mile course to win the event by a comfortable margin.

The team riders fought hard to beat their own record of 1,097 miles set in April, 2001, but the elements just wouldn't cooperate. Still, during the 24 hour continuous event the team encountered only 46 minutes of downtime.

With a bit more testing, research and development, DRI expects to elevate its level of performance with the new KFX 700.

The KFX 700 was equipped with dual Fat Boy 4 exhaust systems, Elka shocks, Roll suspension, Douglas wheels, ITP XCR tires, and an IMS fuel tank.
